I did some live interviews on BBC 5Live drivetime, and LBC later that evening with Ian Dale, explaining how we would find the money to build 500,000 new social rented homes, and defending our reforms to the private rented sector.

27th April – BBC London’s #FloatMyVote programme

I took part in this pitch to voters along with Simon Hughes, Dianne Abbott, Stephen Hammond and Peter Whittle, broadcast on the evening news.


25th April – Radio 4 MoneyBox on housing

I discussed our policy to remove tax breaks from buy-to-let landlords’ mortgages, and explained how we would pay for half a million social rented homes.

Front page splash showing support for local shopkeepers who fought off an attempt by Morrisons to open another convenience store in the town centre, in a location that would have clogged up the pavement and road when unloading produce.

2nd February – FT & BBC on Crystal Palace ‘rebuild’

A quote in the FT article saying “Bromley and the GLA need to stop messing around with fantasy projects and send the Zhongrong Group packing.” A similar quote in a BBC News piece a week later, when Bromley Council finally gave ZhongRong an ultimatum.
